About Me

Breckenridge Counseling is led by Ryan Fray, MMFT, LCP-A

Ryan Fray is a compassionate Christian therapist specializing in helping teenagers, adults, and couples navigate challenges such as anxiety, abuse recovery, childhood trauma, attachment dysfunction, marital conflict, marital dissatisfaction, pornography addiction, and life event adjustments. As the founder of Breckenridge Counseling, Ryan is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Dr. Cassie Reid, PhD, LPC-S. He holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Ouachita Baptist University and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from The King’s University.

Ryan’s approach to therapy is deeply personalized, integrating Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and biblically-based counseling, all infused with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. His training in EMDR equips him to help clients process trauma and build healthier patterns for their lives.

Ryan’s warm and relatable nature extends beyond his professional role. He’s a fun-loving father of three who enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games, drinking coffee, engaging in team sports, playing cards, watching movies, snow skiing, working out, reading, traveling, soaking up sunshine, and nurturing his faith in Jesus. Ryan’s commitment to his clients is driven by his desire to walk alongside them on their healing journey, providing hope, understanding, and a safe space to grow..
